UN Welcomes Death of Osama

New York: UN Security Council welcomed the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, on Monday (3 / 5) yesterday. Killing bin Laden would narrow the movement of global terrorism.

UNSC chairman Gerard Araud said, bin Laden's death is not associated with religious groups, nationalities and certain civilian groups. This is an important achievement in the fight against terrorism. The UN also called on all countries to guard against a counterattack.
